These workers are getting ready to return to their families in Mexico. This was the last English class for the summer of 2008. They are happy to leave, and they are looking forward to once again holding their loved ones in their arms. They all are talking about the FIESTA that's waiting for them.
Eager Migrant Workers are learning ESL from the Even Better Foundation's volunteer.
You can help too! Contact me! We need many more English teachers for the many more locations. (no experience is necessary).
The chocolate and hot chocolate were invented in Mexico. These beautiful mugs are used in the Mexicanada Restaurant in Bradford. Try it one day!
These plants were grown by the Migrant Workers in Bradford, Ontario.

Thousands of candles....all lit up.
Everywhere you look, there are beautiful candles... and there are always lots of people praying, and meditating.
It was here in this church that I first saw a man climbing on his knees, begging for mercy.
I felt so compelled by it that I started praying for this man. I prayed to God that whatever he's praying for,
I hope God gives it to him.
I hope God gives it to him.
Amazing GRACE!

Just keep on climbing higher and higher!
A family in the park relaxing and feeding the pigeons
I found it fascinating that the city centers usually have a large park surrended by government buildings, and huge cathedrals. Each weekend this park gets filled with well dressed children and their papas and mamas, turists, shoeshiners, musicians, and vendors selling their products, for example sliced fruits, fresh juices, ice scream, tacos, puppets, embroidered table cloths, and other beautiful handmade crafts.
Cuetzalan, Puebla, Mexico
A shy little boy looks away.....
Forgive my ignorance, but I didn't know at the time, that there are some kidnappings, and other terrible things happening with some of the children in Mexico, and in other South American countries. So parents teach their children not to be caught on camera. Many children ran away from us. Sometimes an older child grabbed the little ones to hide them from us. I am sorry that innocent children have to be scared of turists, and that they have to hear some horror stories.

The Colour Blue
My favourite colour...blue. All shades of it.
Blue like the sea, blue like the sky, blue like the shade on a snowy meadow, blue like the glass, blue like my mother's eyes, blue like the iris, blue like the clouds, blue like the music in the air, blue like a forget-me-not, blue like a blue jay, blue like the chalk, blue scribbling that my children left on the wall when they were little, blue....blue....blue....
Like my mood when I feel lonely. But if that happens, I switch to bright yellow,
and it cheers me up.

Birds are so innocent
There is an aviary in Niagara Falls. Make sure you visit it next time you are there in the winter!
In the summer there are too many things to do outdoor.
It is indoors, but the setting is beautiful, there is a handcarved wooden building used as a cafe, there is a waterfall, and the birds are just flying around freely from tree to tree.
Welcome to The Heart of the Matter!
Whenever I return from a trip, from a vacation, from a friend's visit, or from work, I bring with me something in my mind.
A sweet little memory...put away in the drawers of my brain.
But the Heart of the Matter stays in within my soul, and my heart.
It is that little tingling and sqeezy feeling in my chest.
It is that special subtance of life that I want to treasure until I die.
That is the moment I try to capture in each of my photograph.
Enjoy!
